Linda Michaels evolved from Little Traverse Jewelers, which was founded in 1979. Linda and Mike are the founders. Linda does the design work and Mike is one of three silver or gold smiths. They work with Michigan stones, such as; Lake Superior Agate, Fordite, Pink Kona Dolomite, Greenstone (Michigan’s Gemstone), Leland Blue, Pudding Stone and of course, Petoskey Stone. In many cases the eclectic designs are exclusive to Linda Michaels. Based on customer requests our designs are made in fine metals, such as Sterling Silver and 14 kt gold.
